Opened November 2012 and located in historic Downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, Natchez is an ever-evolving moderately upscale restaurant offering an eclectic, reasonably priced menu of classically prepared, southern-inspired dishes.
Born and raised in Madison, MS, Chef/ owner Alexis Jones graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelors in hospitality management. She moved to Washington D.C. And worked in hotel and restaurant management before receiving admittance into the Culinary Arts graduate program at Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her externship in Oxford, Mississippi with James Beard Best Chef South winner, John Currence, at his French bistro style restaurant Snackbar. After graduating in Chicago she moved to Little Rock to work at Ashley’s in the Capital Hotel, she has staged around the south with several restaurants including Sean Brock in Charleston, the Hermitage in Nashville and LeBonAppetit for Lebonheur with Kelly English.
